MSD cooking up a Mt Kosi storm
March 6, 2018

MSD hosted a special BBQ at the company's Sydney-based headquarters yesterday to support its fundraising efforts in advance of next week's Rare Cancers Australia Mount Kosciuszko Challenge.

The company is leading the way in the race for the 'Pharma 2 Peak Kosi Challenge' cup, sponsored by PharmaDispatch, which it won last year on the back of raising over $14,000.

It is fast-approaching last year's effort with funds raised from yesterday's BBQ taking its total to over $12,000 with almost two weeks still to go.

The Rare Cancers Australia challenge has so far raised almost $150,000, matching last year's target, as it aims to reach $200,000.

The overall leading team is High Camp, with over $31,000, the MSD Mountaineers are in second.

Abbvie Kozi Klimbers have so far raised over $5,000, with AstraZeneca Azcends topping $3,000 and Gilead over $2,000, while Janssen Kosi Climbers, Novartis, Bayer Bullets, Merck and Amgen, are all busy raising funds.

The 'Pharma 2 Peak Kosi Challenge' cup will be presented at the event dinner, following the challenge, on Saturday 17 March - St Patrick's Day.
