I am fundraising for..
The Kosi Challenge is an annual event hosted by Rare Cancers Australia (RCA) to raise awareness and much needed funds for Australians diagnosed with a rare, less common or complex cancer each year.
In March 2024, I will be challenging myself to walk 100 kms to help RCA. I will be hitting a milestone birthday this year and want to ensure I reciprocate something significant to life to keep feeling grateful in my journey. I plan to surpass my goal and will make my birthday trip to Bali count as steps too.
One hundred per cent of funds raised through the Kosi Challenge goes towards the important work of RCA's Patient Support Team.
From helping patients to access specialists and treatments, through to delivering support groups, connecting people with services and providing financial assistance particularly in times of crisis, Patient Support is at the heart of what RCA does.
RCA is a Federal Government-classified Health Promotion Charity. All donations over AU $2 are fully tax deductible.

Walking on the Bali beach with purpose
A little easier walking on the coastline of an Indonesian beach as opposed to climbing a mountain - but every little bit counts
... and so it begins... and Harry is helping me!
My plan is to walk 1000 km from today to March 16. We started slow today with Harry I think walking my sister, brother-in-law and I more than we walking him.
Moonee Ponds Queens Park is an amazing place to walk in the mornings. I am looking forward to this challenge which I will do with so much pride. Thanks for the opportunity Rare Cancers to get me up in the morning and contribute to your amazing cause.
