I am climbing for rare

The Kosi Challenge is the single signature fundraiserfor Rare Cancers Australia (RCA), with the sole purpose of raising awareness and much needed funds for people across Australia impacted by rare and less common cancers.

In March 2026, I'll be climbing with hundreds of others, in support of rare, in memory of and with those living with rare themself – together we are a community and Kosi unites us all!

All funds raised through the Kosi Challenge goes directly towards funding the individualised, 360 degree person centred support that RCA’s team of specialist cancer navigators provide for patients, carers and their families.

Thank you so much for your support – now can I get a ‘Kosi, Kosi, Kosi – Oi,Oi,Oi!’

P.S RCA is a Federal Government-classified Health Promotion Charity. All donations are fully tax deductible.

My Updates

Atr summer series - medium course

This morning I ventured onto the trails for my first ATR Summer Series (Medium Course) with Martina. It was 14km with 391m elevation. The weather was perfect and although it was hard work, I’m feeling like the training is going well and I’m on the right track. 8 weeks of training to go ☺️

Brown hill and Sturt Gorge

Friday and Sunday last week I got some kms and elevation in at Brown Hill with Danielle and Sturt Gorge with Carla! I’m really enjoying exploring new places I never even knew existed and spending time catching with up with friends. Some of those hills at Sturt Gorge were pretty brutal to say the least! Thanks for the continued support and donations xx

Increasing the kms and elevation

I started to increase the kms again today and also the elevation with a 15km walk with 323m elevation gain. It was a hot morning and a struggle but feeling stronger and the hard work will pay off on the day I’m sure 🤞

Elevation with flies on xmas eve!

Today was my highest elevation training so far with an elevation gain of 239m. Seemed like I had about 239 flies with me/on me as well! Thank goodness for fly nets!

Longest bike ride!

After Parkrun I headed out on my bike for some endurance and hill training. Managed to cycle 50km with 583m elevation, so pretty happy with that as it’s the longest I’ve cycled! Training is going well 😁

Training sundays!

Last Sunday was 10km hills, this Sunday was 11km distance and practising with a backpack! Getting there slowly!

Training has started!

Yesteday I started my training with 2 laps of Hallett Coves Sugarloaf! I won’t lie, I don’t like hills (or mountains) but the next 14 weeks I’m going to learn to love them (or at least tolerate them!). A big thank you to those who have sponsored me, I really appreciate your support and messages xx
