The Kosi Challenge is Rare Cancers Australia’s only annual fundraiser – so let's make it count.
This year, as a way to say thank you for the effort all our supporters put into fundraising for Kosi, we’ve decided to give back with some merchandise rewards when you hit your fundraising milestones.
Everyone who attends Kosi in-person will receive a Rare hat, included in the registration fee.
Then, once you’ve started fundraising, there are more rewards to earn, for both our in-person and virtual Kosi Challengers.
Raise $100 and you’ll be able to lace up for rare in an exclusive set of shoelaces (in-person) or top off your virtual look with one of our iconic Rare hats (virtual).
Raise $500 and you’ll step out in style wearing a rare pair of socks.
Raise $2,000 and you’ll score a drink bottle so you can sip for rare and stay hydrated, whether you’re joining us on the mountain or exploring your local area.
After you hit each fundraising milestone, check your email for details on how to claim your reward.
All merchandise will be posted, except drink bottles for our in-person participants, which will be available to collect in Thredbo so we can thank you in person!
Please allow 5 to 7 business days for items to be posted – so start fundraising early to make sure your rewards arrive in time for Kosi weekend on 13 and 14 March 2026.
