I am climbing for rare

The Kosi Challenge is the single signature fundraiserfor Rare Cancers Australia (RCA), with the sole purpose of raising awareness and much needed funds for people across Australia impacted by rare and less common cancers.

In March 2026, I'll be climbing with hundreds of others, in support of rare, in memory of and with those living with rare themself – together we are a community and Kosi unites us all!

All funds raised through the Kosi Challenge goes directly towards funding the individualised, 360 degree person centred support that RCA’s team of specialist cancer navigators provide for patients, carers and their families.

Thank you so much for your support – now can I get a ‘Kosi, Kosi, Kosi – Oi,Oi,Oi!’

I’m taking on the Kosi Challenge because it’s a powerful way to turn something I love— New challenge—into something that truly matters. Rare cancers don’t get the attention or funding they deserve, yet they affect real people and families who are forced to face enormous uncertainty with fewer treatment options and less research behind them. Raising money through this challenge gives purpose to every step, every climb, and every tough moment along the way. I’m excited to know that the effort, discomfort, and determination it takes to complete the Kosi Challenge can help fund vital research, support patients, and bring hope where it’s urgently needed.
