Thanks for visiting my Kosi Challenge page!

Last year, my Mum was diagnosed with breast cancer. It was caught very early, but lemme tell ya, having worked in cancer research for many years... the more you know, the scarier something like that is! I often reflect on moments I had early in my career with patients on clinical trials who had terminal, late-stage cancer. I remember them being very scared. I also remember moments of strength, laughter, connection, and support from community. I'm not all that sure how to round this off other than to say that, to me, resilience is seen when there's fear/pain and continuing to put one foot in front of the other.

In March 2026, I'll be putting one foot in front of another to climb Mount Kosciusko. Raising awareness and much-needed funds for people across Australia impacted by rare and less common cancers.

All funds raised through the Kosi Challenge go directly towards funding the individualized, 360-degree, person-centered support that the Rare Cancers Australia (RCA) team of specialist cancer navigators provides for patients, carers, and their families.
