I am climbing for rare

The Kosi Challenge is the single signature fundraiserfor Rare Cancers Australia (RCA), with the sole purpose of raising awareness and much needed funds for people across Australia impacted by rare and less common cancers.

In March 2026, I'll be climbing with hundreds of others, in support of rare, in memory of and with those living with rare themself – together we are a community and Kosi unites us all!

All funds raised through the Kosi Challenge goes directly towards funding the individualised, 360 degree person centred support that RCA’s team of specialist cancer navigators provide for patients, carers and their families.

Thank you so much for your support – now can I get a ‘Kosi, Kosi, Kosi – Oi,Oi,Oi!’

Climbing for Theo

In 2010 - My dad, Theodore Sapountzis - was diagnosed with Stomach Cancer and sadly past away 5 weeks later - no treatment - no cure - he didn't stand a chance. 
Climbing for Theo - no patient should be left behind, and 15yrs later, there still is not a ground breaking treatment for this Rare GI Cancer - Now is the time to fight and members those Warriors that have been brave in the battle. I will continue to fight - for all patients - and support Rare Cancers Australia to change the outcome for all Australians diagnosed with a Rare Cancer - Together we can make a huge change. Together we are Mightly.
