Climbing Mount Kosciuszko to support Rare Cancers Australia

On 14 March 2026, I’ll be taking on the Kosi Challenge, climbing Mount Kosciuszko alongside my new employer and team at GSK as part of the GSKlimbers. Together, we’ll be raising funds for Rare Cancers Australia who undertake important research, funding and awareness for people living with rare or less common cancers.

This is a cause that is incredibly close to my heart. My mum was diagnosed in August 2023 with Multiple Myeloma, a rare and incurable blood cancer. Seeing firsthand the impact a rare cancer diagnosis has on patients and families has shown me just how vital research, funding and awareness really is.

Rare cancers are often underfunded and under-researched, yet they affect so many people. Over 42,000 Australians are diagnosed each year, accounting for 1 in 4 cancer cases (Rare Cancers Australia). Every donation no matter how small helps support critical research and gives families hope for better treatments and outcomes in the future.
